Middle east

This Blog is about all the unrest in the Middle East. We as a country do not understand what is happening in the Middle East. All we seem to care about is what we think it means for then in our narrow view point. These Islamic countries and Islamic people are not the same as us. They do not think the way that we do and they do not act the way that we do. We assume as Americans that the entire world thinks just like us and that they ultimately want the same things as us. I don’t mean at all that there are not people like us in these countries. There are good people there as well as bad but their core beliefs are not the same as ours. We think that if there is an uprising in Egypt then the people of that country have spoken and when it is all settled then they will be just like us. When the smoke settles in Egypt they will not just put up hundreds of mc Donald’s and malls. They will not become the self absorbed people that think that everyone should get along and hold hands like our liberal media seem to think. These people could not be more different than us. They are different all the way down to their core. Violence is a way of life for them. Walking out side in one of these countries it would not surprise them at the least to see a group of men walking down the street armed with AK47’s. If you seen this in Joplin, MO you would freak out. If you get a phone call saying someone in your family passed here you would assume a car wreck or something of that nature. There they would think quickly of the fact that their loved one was shot in a raid or attack. We would be outraged by police brutality like what happened here. We cannot allow ourselves to believe that for one minute we can understand what is going on in the Middle East. Egypt has overthrown an oppressive government, but does that mean that they are better off? I can’t say for sure what will happen but I do know one thing, if an extreme Muslim takes power then enacts Sharia law as their new form of rules they will not be better off. Sharia Law has so many restrictions and controls over personal life that the oppression of the Egyptian people would many times worse than it was before.  Just to show a little difference in Sharia law and what we in the us are accustomed to, in Sharia law homosexuality is a crime punishable by death, also women are not allowed to show skin, Ladies no more tee shirts let alone miniskirts. The point of this entire blog was basically to try and open some people’s minds as to what is actually going on. I am not saying believe everything I say because that is the main point. Look into things, don’t just take for granted what someone on a silly blog says, and don’t believe everything that the liberal media says either.
