Spam saves the day

This story is about the carnival cruise ship that was stranded out in the gulf this past week. The story claims that the ship went without power of any kind for almost four days. As the ship came into port they had two passengers taken off the ship in hand cuffs for some reason not given. I don’t believe the loss in power and these two are related.
The real story here is SPAM. One of the main items that people had to eat due to the loss of power was spam. I for one haven’t had spam for at least ten years and there is a real reason for that. I couldn’t imagine having spam for four days to eat especially if there wasn’t a way to cook it. That stuff is slimy out of the can. I find it funny that these poor people were going on what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation and it turned into a nightmare of a trip. I think that I could spin a positive outlook on this if I was on the ship. At least they got an adventure that they will tell stories about for a long time and I’m sure that carnival refunded part if not all of the money that they spent on the cruise. Besides they also probably got a free cruise voucher to use at a later date. The report also said that the cruise line also gave them free alcohol but I think that this is part of their cruise package anyways so I’m not sure why they even mentioned it. I hope that all of the people that were on this ship come away with a positive attitude and aren’t too upset on the trip or the cruise line. At least the ship didn’t sink and them all drown in the ocean.
